Meet The Team

Gallery Director
Opened Gallery Rouge St Albans in 2007, and Gallery Rouge Harpenden in 2012.
Kuldip has over 10 years experience in the art world, and continues to work closely with the gallery's stable of artists and clients.

Position: Gallery Consultant
Joined the team: September 2011

Position: Gallery Manager
Joined the team: July 2014
You'll usually find me: Working across both Gallery Rouge St Albans and Harpenden; working with our clients and artists, and overseeing the gallery's exhibition events.
Favourite Artist: David Renshaw - I love his atmospheric landscapes.
Out of the gallery: I love to cook (and eat), and spend time with my very big family!

Position: Gallery Consultant
Joined the team: March 2016
You'll usually find me: Either in the St Albans gallery or with a camera in my hand. As the inhouse Media man, it's my job to capture all those moments in the gallery people might miss. Such as filming exhibitions and interviewing our artists to let you know a bit more about them and how we do things at Gallery Rouge. Don't forget to check out our Youtube channel!
Favourite artist: Oh I couldn't possibly show favouritism!
Out of the gallery: Enjoying craft beers and blethering about the finer points in film and television. Every August you can find me running around the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a camera in my hands and wearing a red suit.

Position: Gallery Consultant
Joined the team: June 2017
You'll usually find me: In the St Albans gallery gazing longingly at all of the artwork I want to own!
Favourite artist: I love Hessam Abrishami although equally love Kal Gujoum, Rob Bishop...Simon Wright......Kevin Burton, oh and Kathryn Callagahan! Needless to say I'm a rather indecisive individual or maybe there's just too much great artwork in the Gallery. Hmm.
Out of the gallery: Aside from travelling and exploring new places you would find me spending time with family, watching films, enjoying the great outdoors somewhere, or eating. I love eating.

Gallery Rouge is Hertfordshire's most innovative and exciting art destination, offering a wide choice for the 21st Century art lover. With two prominent galleries (one on Chequer Street in the heart of historic St Albans, the other in peaceful Harpenden Village), each offers a vibrant mix of contemporary fine art from which to select. Catering for a diverse audience, the galleries regularly display work ranging from colourist and abstract, to figurative and photorealistic.

Whether you are new to buying art or a seasoned collector, we look forward to helping you find art that will work perfectly in either your home or office surroundings.
