Moving fully online
Gallery Rouge has always been at the forefront of technology adoption in promoting artists and their works. Back in 2015 we launched Visualiser, the revolutionary app that enables you to view art in 3D augmented reality.
Having grown to three physical gallery locations, Covid accelerated the move to a 'digital first' online world. Coupled with our desire to extend our own reach to a wider global audience, it has become clear that operating physical gallery spaces on a full time basis is counter intuitive to a vision I had back in 2007 when I created Gallery Rouge.
Now is the right time for us to push new approaches in how we reach our audience, both through partnerships and collaborations, that take us to new geographies. Consequently Gallery Rouge have moved fully online, and are no longer operating any physical galleries.
But it doesn't mean we are disappearing! In fact, this decision was taken in consultation with our clients. with the new 'work from home' culture, many want more of what we do best - visiting them in their homes, providing guidance and advice on what artwork may best suit their homes and then bringing that artwork for them view in situ.
Taking time out to visit a gallery space to speculative find a piece is outmoded - our clients are time poor, and crave our professional expertise in a 'one-on-one' capacity, and that's exactly what we're committing to. We work around our clients, not our clients working around us.
Keep an eye on our website as we take Gallery Rouge and our represented arists on a journey of discovery.
