"On a visit to the Masai Mara, my main aim was to see the great migration of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. My luck wasn’t in as they all gathered on the banks of the river but didn’t cross until after I’d left! On the way back to camp, I came across this small group under the shade of dead trees. Something that is easily over-looked but I knew they would make a lovely painting."
