Paresh Nrshinga : Finalist - Best New Artist 2008, Fine Art Guild

Paresh Nrshinga was born in Kenya in 1966 and at the tender age of three he moved to England. From an early childhood, Nrshinga was already absorbing colours, movements and sounds, transforming them into expressions and motions on his sketchbook.

Having studied at Leicester Polytechnic, Nrshinga ventured on a journey of self-discovery. Being predominantly self-taught, his style has been influenced by artists such as Pollock, Warhol, Klimt and Picasso. Fascinated by their large canvas work, his paintings reflect his flirtation with abstract expressionism.

Nrshinga is a versatile and sensitive painter. His extensive travels around the world combined with his deep spirituality influence his inspiring paintings, demonstrating the depth of his talent. Through his passion for music he developed a unique flair of transferring and transforming the energy of sound onto the canvas in the form of colour and movement.

Nrshinga has exhibited widely throughout Europe, North America and Dubai, featuring in many private and corporate collections worldwide. His work is collected by those involved in the music, drama and sports arena, and has been used in numerous lifestyle magazines.
